Avoid sanding teak unless it has deep grooves or is very rough. Also, do not use a pressure washer! Our teak cleaners can remove the grey and restore the teak to its original color without harsh sanding. Just wet the teak, apply the Part A cleaner, let it sit for 5-10 minutes without drying, and then rinse it off. Follow with the Part B brightener, let it sit for another 5-10 minutes without drying, and rinse thoroughly. Do not use a pressure washer. Let the teak dry for 48 hours before sealing it with your preferred SEMCO sealer for a long-lasting, natural-looking, stain-resistant finish.
